Celebrate the Season in Downtown Chula Vista!

Thank you to all who attended the Chula Vista Starlight Parade & Children’s Faire on Saturday, December 2 at Memorial Park and along the historic Third Avenue Village. The free family event was the perfect way to kick-off the holiday season!

Congratulations to all of our Starlight Parade entries! Winners of the 2017 parade will be announced at the Chula Vista City Council  Meeting on Tuesday, January 16 at 5 p.m. Meeting location is 276 Fourth Avenue. Awards will be given in the following categories:

  • 1st Place, Best Marching Band
  • 2nd Place, Best Marching Band
  • 3rd Place, Best Marching Band
  • Best Representation of Holiday Theme
  • Most Creative
  • Best Use of Lights
  • Best Community Entry

  • Most Enthusiastic Group/Entry
  • Best Dance
  • Best Military Entry
